WCES Participates in Compassion Games

WCES is participating in the Compassion Games from February 12th - March 13th. This was a challenge bought to us by APEX (Aspire) as their climate change project. For an entire month, the students earned BLUE RAM BUCKS when caught showing compassion. This can look like simply holding the door open or by paying it forward in the classroom. Students were challenged to say thank you, write a kind note, sit by someone new, etc. Teachers have also assigned class projects to give back to the community. ANYTHING that showed compassion earned a Blue RAM Buck. The BLUE Ram Bucks are cashed in at the school store where students can purchase different items. Top winners also received a prize. Compassion Games was a fun and creative way to ignite and catalyze compassionate action in our school.
