Worth County Cross-Country (XC) runners faced the most challenging competition to-date this past weekend in Lee County. With over 19 schools represented at the Lee County Invitational on Saturday, September 7th, and temperatures in the upper 90's, the WCHS/WCMS XC boys and girls did very well. Eyon Zupko placed 4th in middle school boys with a personal best time of 12:39.10. Middle school boys (Eyon Zupko, Kason Mullen, Hunter Johnson, Hunter Larson, and Emiliano Torres) as a team placed 8th. Middle school girls (Rayonnia Woodard, Ana Resendez, McKayla Gay, and Alexia Sokolowsky) as a team placed 10th. Though the high school boys did not place in the top 10, all had personal best times. Brianna Zupko placed 6th with a time of 21:36.40. Fantastic job! We are so proud of all of the Cross-Country runners! Go Rams!
