Worth County 4-H Competes at Cloverleaf District Project Achievement

Students attend 4-H Cloverleaf DPA

Worth County Schools had four 4-H'ers compete at the Cloverleaf District Project Achievement (DPA) on March 23, 2019, at Mossy Creek Middle School in Houston County.  4-H'ers choose a project area of interest, research a topic, then write and present an oral presentation to judges and peers.  Cloverleaf 4-H'ers are from grades 4-6 and DPA allows them to gain hands-on learning, self-confidence, and share knowledge.

WCES 5th graders Lakyn Cooper, Sher'miah Donaldson Kayla Smith, and WCMS  6th grader Zoe Famer all represented Worth County well while presenting at DPA.  See results below.  Mallory Burger, WCMS 8th grader attended as a Teen Leader.  Kristen Pegues, Worth County 4-H Extension Agent, helped students in preparation for DPA.

Lakyn Cooper - 3rd place in Sports-Team
Sher'miah Donaldson - honorable mention in Sports-Team
Kayla Smith - 1st place in Sheep & Meat Goats
Zoe Farmer - 1st place in Horse
