WCHS - Georgia Health Survey - Parent

Attention WCHS Parents:

The Georgia Department of Education and WCHS need your help! In connection with the Georgia DOE, our faculty and staff work diligently to provide your child with a quality education in a safe and supportive environment. Please take a few minutes to complete an online survey to let us know how we are doing. The Georgia DOE uses these survey results to gauge the overall climate at WCHS. Thank you for taking the time to complete this survey!

2023 STAR Student and Teacher 2023 STAR Student and Teacher

Congratulations to the 2023 Worth County High School STAR Student, Logan English, and STAR Teacher, Mrs. Melissa Souter!

Each year, a STAR student is selected from each high school in Georgia. The STAR student is the high school senior who has the highest score on any single test date of the SAT taken through the November of their senior year and is in the top 10 percent or top 10 students of their class based on grade point average. Nominees' SAT scores must be equal to or be higher than the concorded mean scores on the Evidence-Based Reading and Writing and Math sections. Each high school STAR Student is asked to name his/her STAR Teacher.

Logan has worked very hard over his school career, and we are proud of his accomplishments. We are also very proud of Mrs. Souter and the many students she has influenced over the years. She is certainly deserving of this honor! Congratulations again to the WCHS STAR Student and Teacher, Logan English and Mrs. Souter!
