WCHS Robotics Team Competes at District Event WCHS Robotics Team Competes at District Event
The WCHS Robotics Team (iRambots with NASA, Team 7470) competed in a District event in Dalton, GA on March 5th-7th, 2020. The event was Star Wars themed and the team competed well and had fun. The WCHS Robotics Team advanced to the Semifinals and was the second pick in alliances. The iRambots were also the first team in GA to triple beam balance and received the Safety Award.
The iRambots team, coaches, and mentors worked a tremendous amount of hours weekly and were looking forward to a second successful season. The team was also confident and ready to advance to state - as they did last season. Their main goal this season was to advance and compete in World’s, which was to be held in Texas.
The iRambots team is a group of students that are smart, kind, and truly represent the spirit of teamwork. They all strive for academic success while also being involved in many additional school clubs/teams. We are proud of you iRambots and we cannot wait to watch what you will accomplish next season! #GoRams #RamPride
