Good Citizen Award for August 2014!!!!!

School Improvement Plan 2014 -2015!

WCMS is a awesome school which received AdvancEd Accreditation last year.  However, WCMS continues to strive for excellence in education. The School Improvement Plan for 2014 - 2015 has been completed.  Click here to view it.


It's time for Social Science projects at WCMS.  Every student will be required to complete a project on either a Social Studies topic or a Science topic.  The Social Science packets will be sent out on Friday, August 29th with Progress Reports. The forms for the projects must be signed by parents/guardians and returned by Friday, September 5th.  The final projects are due on December 10th.

WCMS participated in the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge on Wednesda, August 27, 2014. Woodmen of the World Visit WCMS!!!!!!!

Sherry Waldrop and Clarice Mitchell, representatives of Woodmen of the World from Chapter 172, brought school supplies to our school to be used as needed. Distributing school supplies was their July project. They also brought classroom sets of "The American Patriot's Handbook" for every 7th grade Social Studies class to use. Eighth graders, Gavosky Peterson, Gabe Goff, and Raekwon Brown assisted Ms. Waldrop and Ms. Mitchell with delivery and are pictured with them.

Annual Title One Parent Meeting!!!!

Welcome Back to school, WCMS will hold our annual Title I meeting on Tuesday, September 9, 2014 from 6:00 – 7:00 PM. We will be answering and discussing information about our Title I program. Show your support and participation by coming out. This will be a great opportunity for you to meet your Parent Involvement Coordinator for Worth County Middle School, Mrs. Jaki Johnson.
