Congratulations to WCMS for being awarded The Striving Readers Grant.  The staff of  WCMS celebrated this accomplishment Friday, March 13th with cake.  The Worth County School System ranked 3rd in the state with a score of 94.2.  The members of the WCMS grant writing team deserve a special thanks for their hard work:  Sharon Siniard, Kerri Hancock, Jennifer Easom, Melissa Folsom, Stacey Weaver, Gina Ford, Carole Slappey, Tiffany Sevier, and Maria Fletcher.  

Career Fair 2015

Eighth grade students attended the Career Fair on Friday, March 13th in the WCMS gym.  The fair, hosted by WCHS, had colorful displays, and students gave informative presentations to the 8th graders. 


Congratulations go out to Talley Powell, a sixth grade student at Worth County Middle School!  Talley’s Social Studies project won 3rd place at the Regional Social Studies Fair in Perry, Georgia on Saturday, March, 7.  Her project which was about “Factors that  Influence City and County Elections” previously won 1st place in the WCMS Social Science Fair.  Congratulations again, Talley!!!!!!

Georgia Parent Survey
Please take a moment to complete the Georgia Parent Survey. It contains 24 questions, and parents are able to complete the survey using their personal computers, smartphones or iPads. For parents who do not have access to the Internet, please contact Parent Coordinators for assistance. It is not mandatory for parents to participate, but all parents are encouraged to complete the Georgia Parent Survey. The data from this survey will be used to calculate the School Climate Star Rating. Survey responses are anonymous and will be submitted directly to the Georgia Department of Education for analysis. Data results from the Georgia Parent Survey will not be available to the public and will not be posted online. The URL address for the Georgia Parent Survey is posted below.
