Friday Night Football - Free Pass for Hurricane Michael Workers

October 16, 2018. The Worth County School District would like to invite all individuals involved in the Hurricane Michael cleanup process to the Worth County High School Rams football game this Friday
night, October 19, 2018 at 7:30pm. All individuals with Sylvester/Worth County Public Safety
Personnel, City/County Public Works Personnel, all Linemen, Water, Gas, & Light or Red Cross
with current work badges and/or check stub will be granted one pass into the game free of
charge. The Worth County School District would like to recognize the hard work that these
individuals have put in this last week.

WCSD School Opening UPDATE

School is closed for all students and staff until Monday, October 22, 2018. 12-month staff report to work. Staff Benefits meeting will be rescheduled.  TBA. 

Athletics Update - Week of October 15th

Athletics Week of 10/15/18: ~Softball will host the second round of the state playoffs Wednesday 4pm & 6pm (If Need will Play Thursday at 4pm)  ~Varsity Football will practice at 9am Tuesday thru Thursday. Play Crisp County @ home 730pm Friday. Senior Night.  ~Cross Country will practice Wednesday thru Friday 9am-10am. The Cross Country meet scheduled for Saturday(10/20) has been canceled due to hurricane damage.  ~Middle School Football will practice Wednesday and Thursday 8am-11am  ~WCHS Competition Cheer practice Tuesday 9:30-12. Wednesday thru Friday 1pm-4pm. Competition Saturday at Colquitt ~WCMS Comp. Cheer All practice at WCES. Tuesday 3:30-5:30, Wednesday 9-12, Thursday 9-12, Friday TBA. Competition Saturday at Colquitt



Worth County Board of Education will hold a regular monthly meeting on Thursday October 18, 2018 at 7:00pm in the Worth County Board of Education boardroom at 103 Eldridge Street Sylvester Georgia 31791.


WCSD Stakeholder Survey

WCSD is requesting all stakeholders to complete this short survey about preference for conducting the Worth County High School graduation.  The survey will accept responses until 10/23/18.

WCSD Receives 2018 Kajeet Homework Gap Grant

Kajeet®, the industry leader for safe, K-12 mobile solutions, announces the winners of its second annual Homework Gap Grant. Winners span the nation, from California to Maine. Each applicant offered an inspiring story about how Kajeet can help their students succeed with filtered and managed mobile connectivity.


Due to schools closing, the Worth County Board of Education will hold their Work Session on Monday October 15, 2018 at 6:30 pm in the Worth County Board of Education Boardroom at 103 Eldridge Street Sylvester, GA.

Worth County School District staff members came together August 7th to Kick-Off the 2018-2019 school year.  

WCSD New Staff Members 2018-2019 Welcome to Worth County Schools!

New Hire Orientation for the 2018-2019 school year brings all of Worth County School District's new staff members together.  This year, we welcome 28 staff members to the RAM family! We have staff members that are new to the profession, staff members that are returning to our district, and many who are graduates of Worth County Schools.  #RAMPRIDE

Infinite Campus is our district-wide student information system.  The Infinite Campus Parent Portal provides parents with a fast and convenient way to check student grades, schedules, attendance, and other resources.

WCSD School Bus WCSS Bus Transportation Requirements for 2018-2019

As we begin the 2018-2019 school year, WCSS continues to focus on student safety on our school buses.  Riding a school bus is an extension of the school day and students are expected to follow the same rules of respect and follow directions as they would in the school building.  Please find the WCSS Bus Transportation Rules for 2018-2019 at the link below.

At the monthly meeting, each school's Teacher of the Year was recognized and the WCSD Teacher of the Year was announced.  Congratulations Mrs. Langley from Worth County Primary School!

New WCHS College and Career Academy Front View New Worth County High School College and Career Academy Construction is Moving Along

The construction of the new Worth County High School College and Career Academy is moving along on schedule.  It is set to open in August 2018.
